Kinesthetic Learning Style

Kinesthetic learners, the most physically active of the learning styles, absorb information best through touch, movement, and motion.

The term kinesthetic describes our sense of body position and movement. This implies that to truly comprehend something, one must touch, feel, and manipulate it.

For hands-on learning, some kinesthetic math games employ manipulatives such as stickers and floor mats. The floor mats from Math & Movement aid in the teaching of concepts through movement-based activities. Each mat includes a set of suggested activities for students of various grade levels.
