Teacher Resources: Everything you need

Teachers are those who assist students in discovering their strengths, wiping away tears, defeating demons, and conquering fears.

Gueudet, B. Pepin, & L. Trouche (2012) were interested in teaching resources. They specifically challenged these in school mathematics practice (Adler, 2000), where the author argued for a broader concept of resources in use that includes teachers' professional knowledge (as opposed to their formal qualifications), additional material resources such as geoboards designed specifically for school mathematics, everyday resources such as money, and social and cultural resources such as language and collegiality. The author argued resources should be verbalized. According to the author, this discursive move shifts attention from resources to teachers using resources and resourcing their practice. (Gueudet et al., 2012)

According to another recent study, the COVID-19 pandemic forced teachers and teacher educators to teach online. According to UNESCO, the global pandemic forced 82.8 percent of the world's 1.5 billion students and teachers to leave traditional classrooms. Educational institutions have implemented programs such as "I learn at home," "I learn online," and "digital learning" to allow students to continue learning while imprisoned. Physical booklets, TV classes, synchronous virtual classes on Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, and asynchronous virtual classes on Moodle were all used in these programs. Lugo-Armenta and Pino-Fan (2002) As a result, digital resources such as simulations, models, graphics, animations, quizzes, games, e-books, and e-notes are making learning more accessible, engaging and contextualized for teachers and students.
